on friday at s.o.b's i got witness an amazing show. The Brother Jacques Project featuring Jacques Schwarz-Bart. after seeing him on countless occasions with Me'shell, i finally got a change to hear him be the front man doing his own wonderful compostions. performing with him were Stephanie Mckay(Brooklyn Funk Essentials. Soulive, Talib Kwali, Kelis, ect.) on vocals, Johnathan Maron on bass, Jason Linder on keyboards and Terreon Gully on drums. after the third song Johnathan puts down his bass and Me'shell puts it on and performs on a song called Busted. some folks around me actually weren't sure who she was he really has some beautiful music and if you have not picked up cd...www.brotherjacques.com. soul stirring music. peace & be safe [This message was edited by nymakeda on 03-23-03 at 13:26.] | ||
