Meshell concert cherry popped!i was at the 7pm show. it was great. great energy from the Meshell and the crowd. gorgeous people. I still can't believe i shared space with such an incredible human being!
hey m, not sure if you heard from lisa yet, but meshell dedicated diggin' you (like an old soul record) to "my friend matthew who runs my website" in the encore for the 10p show in chicago. for a minute i thought maybe you were in the audience! great, great show with tons of good energy from all members of the band. the new drummer charles haynes (sp?) is so much fun. i miss chris bruce though. the bass workshop was awesome too. not enough time to get into it right now, but will post a little more on it later. peace deshi

Lisa did tell me, and of course I blushed as if I was there when it happened. That was pretty nice of her to do that
I'm wondering where Deantoni went off to. Last time it was Sade. Would love to hear some of Meshell's older stuff performed with him. Then again, I'm just happy to hear him play anything. Almost 5 months now since I've seen the crew.
It will be hard to see them without Chris and Deantoni. The four of them (with Mark) are like a machine now...
I'm regretting not going to Chicago. Sounds like everyone had a great time
