been so busy with new job, had little time to post. Hope ya all are doing well!

anyone planning on going to any of the shows in Atlanta and North Carolina this weekend?

I was gonna try to go to one of the North Carolina gigs but my wife had to leave town unexpectedly so I gotta stick around to make sure the kids don't trash the house Smile

hopefully there'll be a few more gigs popping up over the next several months...fingers crossed!

Sorry for the late reply to your inquiry, Derek...but I saw MeShell's Saturday night gig at Apache Cafe in Atlanta...The show was sooo goood. I've seen MeShell so many times but I'm still amazed at how hard it can be for me to articulate each experience in anything other than the most elementary terms, hence the "sooo goood". She is just the best and she surrounds herself with the best.

I love the fact that she chose to play Apache. It aint big as shit and you can't see the stage for shit if you're not lucky enough to get up front, but sonically, it's the answer.

The band was off the chain...Charles was on drums - he's a beast. MeShell, suprisingly, played a lot of guitar...kinda grungie...punkish..but way cool. She just keeps getting better!

I hate to sound like a groupie, but when she exited the stage, she almost, literally brushed up against me. That's how packed it was. I aint normally the swoonin' type but I was floating leaving that joint that night. Anywhoo...I digress...

Peace and Blessings

Ditto! Always a great experience. Just hope she'll make her way back to D.C.
