Hey, just curious if anyone has gone to the San Fran shows or has read reviews of last night's shows. Am curious which songs she is covering, and if she is throwing in any of her own material as well. If anyone has set-lists, please share.
I am going to the Seattle show in a few days. -Bruce |

She will be doing some of her own songs at the end... I haven't heard any reviews of the Heron material. It's my opinion that she'll put enough of a twist on the material that if we didn't know it was his, we'd just assume they were new songs by her and the band

Here are a few of Gil's songs I've love to hear her perform:
- Evolution (and Flashback) - Get Out of the Ghetto Blues - Home is Where the Hatred Is - The Revolution Will Not be Televised (I saw the video clip someone posted - nice!) - The Bottle - Possum Slim - Me and the Devil - I'm New Here - Your Soul and Mine - New York is Killing Me |

Yeah, I feel like I understand her better after the show. She opened up and shared her thoughts about a range of topics, especially during the 1st half (covers section).
I thought the instrumentation was perfect for the covers section, but I did miss the keyboards during her material. But it did allow the drums and guitar to take center stage, and that was an exciting way to experience the songs, too. |

I missed having Keefus/Jason too, but it was nice to hear what it sounds like a little more stripped down...
I'm not sure what's going on there. I know Keefus was working with Nikka Costa on her album (producing/playing), though I don't know if that's a full-time gig or not. |
