Back in late January, I got all excited. Finally there was an album title for Paradise, For All(ah), The World has Made Me... (there's at least one other I know of, but can't spell)

And in the next few days, I eagerly check Freemyheart for the album cover...

And I waited for February 20th just so I'd see what date Amazon would put up...

But now we approach the middle of March, and I would like to know, what's up? Is the album still expected in April? Is there any new information?

Even some new rumours would satisfy me.

Hey, Winfink, I feel ya, but let's looks at the bright side and enjoy the moment we all know that every release is always held up. I just simply open up myself to the endless directions Meshell's music will go when it's finally out for all. Besides this release will be others that will keep us in oblivisious splender. And let's appreciate these "Live " shows, which have never been an option before. So every time I think about how bad I can't stand waiting, I just slip in my Rome and Switzerlain cds and close my eyes to her free show to me. Hang in there, it's only going to get better.

Sorry for spelling your name wrong Winfunk not Winfink-but as I said at the ending of my post, it can only get better- and all of sudden I check the upcoming shows to find out that Meshell's coming to Wash.D.C.-------will be making a stop right away to pick up my ticket in the morning!!

Just FYI, 9:30 Club does not have that May date on their calendar, though there is one date listed after that for another artist. Is this a confirmed show?

I know you pull info as best you can M, just wanted to let you know in case you didn't. I get their newsletter, so hopefully it'll show up.

thanks for asking. it's been confirmed by management that there is a show on that date at the 930 club.

i did call the 930 club to confirm that the date hasn't changed, etc, but since it's not on their site, they weren't able to tell me...

they told me to check back again on their site on thursday. (the only day they update their site)

it's good to know, because i'm still trying to find out the times of the upcoming shows that are currently listed on this site - since none of the upcoming shows are listed on any of the venue's websites.

as for those wondering why i haven't announced anything... i wasn't going to until tickets were available...

these are the only 4 shows currently scheduled and i don't know of any others in the works, although that doesn't mean that there aren't any others in the works.

lastly, check out the discography under "soundtracks" for some new news...

heheh...yeah i called too m...they wouldn't give specifics yet, but said to keep an eye out on their mailing list which comes out every Wednesday (i'm already on it so i checked today and it's not listed in this weeks edition so hopefully by next week it'll show up)

but thanks to FMH i know enough advance info to put in for a tentative May 3rd Thursday/Friday vacation day ...if she comes to DC theres no way I'm missin it this time...

me too...but if for some reason this DC gig doesn't happen, I'm not exactly ruling OUT a trip to NYC on the 7th as a back-up either...heck, i may do somethin crazy and try to catch em both if they let me off at work...
