as mentioned in the mailing list email you should've received the other day, there's nothing currently scheduled/planned at this time... although the primary recording is completed for "papillon", me'shell has other things slated for the time being (such as the editing/mixing kt mentioned), and something else i'm not at liberty to talk about at this time...

since kt is posting here on a regular basis to keep all of you informed, you can be sure you'll be the first to know when "papillon..." dates are scheduled... and more

we were able to negotiate with maverick and verve to make this work for everybody.

as for touring plans, meshell will be on the road this year, and she will likely do pieces of papillon in her set with her band. there are tentative plans to bring together many of the all-stars for a 2004 papillon tour in europe.

I work with Universal Music wich is the mother of "Verve" (where Papillon will be released).
I asked about Papillon, and according to their knowledge it will be released in Januari 2004...

Is that the same answer as you guys got? I can't wait to hear the music!!!

Latest from my side is that Verve dropped several projects/artists and PAPILLON!
They dropped the album!!! They think it will be released at Warner/Maverick. The release might take a bit longer then.. New A&R, new people, new meetings, promotion set-up, release date...etc etc etc

thanks for the inside info. Thats bad news indeed... but I'm glad i know about it now though, otherwise I would've gone and gotten all hyped up with anticipation of the release only to be didappointed come feb....

i'm still waiting for confirmation of this via verve, kt, or her new management, but have heard nothing back yet.
