I remember reading earlier that BETJazz was supposed to air an Episode of her and the Spirit Music Jamia during Black History month...has that passed already?...does anyone know any information about it?...thanx...

I'm not sure what the content was but apparently BETJ did air an episode of "Influences" that featured Meshell as the subject. (according to a post over at okayplayer it aired earlier this week)

unfortunately i didn't see that post until after the show went off but i'm hoping for a repeat broadcast...

an episode of "Influences" airs tonight at 1:30AM eastern time...the guide doesn't say who the featured artist is though, but I'm going to schedule my vcr to record it just in case (because I KNOW that no matter how hard i try to stay awake, my old ass will STILL doze off into ZZZZZZ-land long before then

It aired Monday morning at 4:30 a.m. They usually show the same show for a week. It sounds as if this might be the last airing of it because of the mention on okay player. I caught it during one the airings that was mentioned on one of the previous messages.

they had the youtube account i had all of her videos uploaded on terminated for copyright violations for uploading the 2002 nyla interview.
