I am pleased to announce that Dance of the Infidel will be released in the U.S. on June 21st on Shanachie/Universal!

In support of the release, dates are being planned throughout th U.S. for the month of June. More posts later on how to support the release and the tour dates.

that's excellent news for u.s. fans. i'm glad i didn't hesitate to buy it from amazon france though. i don't think i could've waited until june 21st. on behalf of myself and countless others who have purchased the new cd and are indeed feeling it in all its glory, please let meshell and the jamia know that it is indeed a work of art. genius, if you will. i am absolutely in love with it, and while it's not quite in competition with bitter as my fave album of all time, it's up there. waaaay up there.

hmmm ...a Bonus DVD huh? Thats a good idea soulsike...
but i kinda think that might be hard to pull off in time for a june release though...but something like that sure would be sweet...kt did say they filmed a show or two...and they did aire one of the European shows on French tv three or four times already...so there is footage available...hmmm...yeah that would be sweet indeed...

but it doesn't matter, even though i have the French version i'll still cop the US release too, bonus material or not...

Can't wait to catch her new show. Hopefully Northampton, MA won't be slept on for the Summer tour (she usually stops here). Can't wait to actually purchase the album. Been bumping it nonstop since I got it through illicit means ;-) She will always get my hard-earned money, even if I barely have it myself, I'll always have enought o share with someone who's sared so much with me through her music.
