Has anyone gotten a copy of Anthony Hamilton's latest album, "Ain't Nobody Worryin"? There is a beautiful song on his album called "Pass Me Over". Now the reason I ask if anyone has his store bought album, is because I have only heard the song online and dont have access to the liner notes. But I digress, I loved the song from the first measure of the song even before the words simply because its a "sample" of Meshell's song Faithful. Well I'm no trained musician or sound engineer, but to me its the exact same music ala Brian McKnight and Anytime. Any thoughts? You can listen to Anthony's song here: http://music.aol.com/songs/new_releases_full_cds?defaultTab=4

Interesting....it's not a "sample", ie its not the actual track. The chord progression is very similar, but its a pretty common chord progression. What really reminds me of Faithful though is that the bass playing is very Me'shell-esque. Pino Palladino is one of the bass players on the album; it may or may not be him on that track. You can check out the personel on allmusic.com -- theres some pretty big names: James Poyser, ?uestlove, Raphael Saadiq.
