Hey I know we all can't wait for the new disc, but as always Meshell seems to always bring many gifts, be it her own or from others.

Along with being included on the new Karl Denson disc and the latest Zap MaMa cd, Meshell is also Producing the latest Jason Lindner cd called "Now vs Now" to be released on Oct. 20, 2009. Which is said to meld funk, rock and jazz into a simmer cosmic groove driven by the poetry rhythms of New York. Featuring performances by Kurt Rosenwinkel(who helped Q-tip on the Kamaal the Abstract cd, playing organ and keys)and countless others including Meshell herself.
P.S. I'm still trying to get a domestic copy of the latest Myron cd (called Myron and the Works) which includes Meshell and pretty much her touring band from 2007. I've only heard five of the songs through imeem.com, love what I've heard.
