whoops...just realized you were lookin for it on yousendit, AFTER i had already upped it on Megaupload...hope Mega works for ya... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XCA9D72Penjoy...guitarist is KILLIN in this one! Its also cool to hear some of the earlier approaches to some of the new songs in this Rome set and then to listen to the differences in the later shows in Budapest and Zurich...

no offense to anyone, but i can't imagine wanting to hear anyone but severson live with her new material after hearing the rome show...
i mean... does anyone not like his guitar playing on this set?

i agree. there are versions of songs that i'd rather hear from different concerts. the "love song #1" i'd rather hear the one that's on her myspace page than the one from the rome set.
jon jon webb was incredible... every time i've heard that song since then, it's played the same way on the album. he messed around with it a little, and you could hear how much meshell was digging it because she was vocal about it.

Yeah man, for some reason i get the impression that some of those Comfort Woman tour shows get overlooked by some folks. I don't know if my impression is real or not, maybe everyone digs them too, but in my opinion they are simply fantastic! I mean, so often they were able to create such space and atmosphere on that tour....and they got the polyrythm thing going...and Sy Smith....(the 'Love Song #1' version that you mention on Myspace is a great example)...i ended up LOVING what i heard from that tour. (even though i was still dealing in my own way with the Bretheren disbanding . Yeah that Comfort Woman tour was really special no doubt...it had a soothing grooving spacey vibe to it. I may just have to go listen to something from that era now...'Love Song #1' here i come...
