Hi people,
writing from The Netherlands... Can anyone tell me what's up with Me'shell? Or what's down? Where she is and if there's any news? Here in Europe we don't see, hear or read sh*t about Me'shell. M? good news charlot... meshell and the new band will be playing at the north sea jazz festival in july... i'm still working out the exact date, but she is definitely heading your way. matthew, as soon as i have the dates all lined up for europe, i will send them to you. as for other music, meshell is writing new material now in nyc and is occassionally sitting in on various live sets... hopefully folks will hold tight for a few more months. oh, and papillon has changed its name to the Spirit Music Sextet. peace kt |

Well, I can see others are feinding for Meshell like myself. I can't wait for more from her. Her music is so inspiring and just real. So many artists are clogging our ears with songs that were a waste of studio time. Everything Meshell does is real and you don't find that nowadays. Although this may sound corny but her music has inspired me to write a book, not about her, but about love, life, persecution, survival, all the things that Meshell writes about in her music.

yeah man...that version of Love Song #1....m you hit the nail on the head...it IS a ride indeed isn't it? the way it rockets you up and around in the explosive frenzy and then , before you realize it...fwoooumph...it eaazes you back down and lets you float for a while...to catch your breath indeed.

M, you know I miss Me'shell here in Holland..
So today I got myself "standing in the shadows of montown"... It's a beauty. A DVD ev'ry musician should have in their collection. I payed full price on this DVD and I don't mind 'cause I strongly believe that the founders of the of the MOTOWN SOUND deserve it...
