Comments? Sigh. I'm removing it from my playlist for a while. I'm not going to try to force myself to like it. It doesn't help that Corinne had completely blown me away two weeks earlier. Now that's an album that I can't get enough of.

K'Trazz, have you heard the leaked track off of the upcoming D'Angelo album?
I too am in love with Corinne's new album. Every single track is great. Even though it's only February, I think it will be difficult to top her album in 2010.
P.S. Deantoni Parks (Meshell's most recent drummer) is currently touring with Sade. Was pretty cool to see him with Sade on all of the recent youtube clips...
Yeah, I was asking b/c it seems there's mixed buzz on the Sade. Lover's rock took a while to grow on me, so maybe (hoping) this is the same.
Will have to check out Corinne - don't know her at all. New D'Angelo? What's up with that? I've heard the Lynnwood Rose bootleg with Q-Tip and Raphael Saadiq but it fell kinda flat. Love to see something new come out.

I have now. Thx. Something about it takes me back to '87-'88, when I was scouring through certain bootlegs. This is going to have to go on heavy rotation.
The Sea has made my friend's G.O.A.T. list and my favorite song keeps changing. Last week, "Closer". Week before, "I Would Like To Call It Beauty". Today, "Love's On It's Way". Time for uprising! Hell, I'm even going to both her Chicago and Detroit shows. I haven't done that for anyone, not even Meshell, yet.

I actually didn't really start getting into Lover's Rock until last year. I hope you enjoy SOL.
