Ok. Here's a few more to check out. I don't know if you posted Stanley's site yet but here:

Stanley Clarke

Doria Roberts

Peven Everett

Oh, and don't forget my band

ASCENDANT

Stanley Clarke has a new album out this week. Check his site for info.

Doria Roberts has been an inspiration to me personally. She really knows how to make a great melody.

Peven Everett (Chi-town Love!) We met Peven at one of our shows in October. He has a new album out as well. You could order it at Dusty Groove America

ASCENDANT new CD, Where You Are Now, release in June

Shameless plugs aside, there is good music out there to be heard. We're all giving it 100% so please check these artists we've all mentioned. I know I speak for all of us, the support is greatly appreciated.

Charlot - nice site and I heard your sample a few months back. I am digging your sound. REAL nice. Hit me back.

God's Love and Blessings

Hey, I've been discovering a lot of great music from great artists lately and I just wanted to let you guys know about them (that is if you know about these cats already).

-Rhian Benson www.rhianbenson.com
Check out the song "Sing To A Child," if you like Amel you'll feel this artist.

-Freestyle Nation www.mp3.com/Freestyle_Nation_
Check out "Why Do I Do," reminds me of a funkier, less pretentious Musiq. This is hot independent soul music.

-Tori Fixx www.cdbaby.com/ToriFixx or http://artists3.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Tori_Fixx/
This gay rapper is tighter than Caushun and is a mixture between Prince & Q-Tip. He's my favorite artist right now. Check him out and please buy his record "The Mochasutra" or "REfixx" they are both hot.

-Protegee www.mp3.com/Protegee
Hot female MC, reminscient of Da Brat -- representing the Minneapolis hip hop scene. My favorites from her are "Feel This Heat" and "Ya Mama 'Nem."

-Mz. Platinum www.mp3.com/MZ_PLATINUM
She looks a little like Meshell Ndegeocello, but this lesbian MC is clearly in a class of her own...serving up delectable Atlanta-fried hip hop.

-Gary Hodges www.mp3.com/Gary_E_Hodges
R&B artist with an old-school-meets-new-school style. Check out the track "Fallin' 4 U" it has that bounce!
Please let me know what you think and reply to this message. Thanks :-)

Charlot: I'm making my plans. I haven't confirmed the dates, but sometime in 2004. Reading a biography of Rubens got me interested in this trip and now I can hardly wait!

Take care.
