Hello !
I came across this CD from a jazz singer called Laika in my music store. Looking closely, it appears that it was produced by Meshell and performed by Chris Bruce, Marl Kelley, Deantoni Parks (on 5 tracks), KeefusCiancia, Oliver lake and some other players. This isn't mentioned in the discography, and I thought it could be added... Meshell also plays bass on track 6. The album sounds like a classic jazz one, but with a little touch in addition (I think Meshell's producing brings some interesting flavour in it) It's funny to hear MN current band playing in another style !!! Very interesting and pleasant to listen to. |

Thank you so much for this! Sidenote: Track 6 is that Stevie Wonder classic... good to hear that killer band playing this song. Wow

Sidenote: Don't bother trying to buy this via MP3 from Amazon.fr if you live in North America. I'll never understand that. Trying to support the art, and based on where we live, we can not? Artists must love that...
The CD will cost another $20, due to the exchange rate and shipping costs... may have to wait. |

Did you get this yet? Or borrow it until it's affordable like I did?
