little did we know then that this child was destined rule a world...but it is true...and alas, it has come to pass.

today he rules the world...the cyberworld that is. Yes, when it comes to the cyber promotion, sharing and 'grass roots community making' of 'all things Meshell', he truely rules supreme with a tireless passion and a strong will. Through the years, against many evils he has stood fast and endured. Be it evils of simple but oh so required commerce, evils of corporate Empires of the recording biz...why, believe it or not, he even went toe to toe against the dreaded often warped mind of the prince of the Purple Sith: the mini 'Darth Hater' himself...and lived to tell about it.

Who was this child born many years ago today in a galaxy not really that far away who became ruler of all things meshell on the internet highway?

Heck I still remember back in the mid 90's when i first got limited access to this mysterious thing called 'the internet'...(i was house sitting for a friend and they had a computer)...the first things i looked up were info about Prince and info about Meshell...that led me to your original "Song Of Solomon" Meshell site (ancestor of FreeMyHeart). i lurked for a while, not knowing really what or how to interact with this new thing 'the internet', but eventually i 'got it' (with some help from many folks more technically savvy than i) and have been enjoying the ride ever since. Thanks again for the years of musical enjoyment, knowledge & friends gained by visiting the sites you've created and maintained. Hope all that energy and good vibes you put into creating these venues comes back to you tenfold bro...many happy days to ya!

and yeah, I'm definitely going to the DC show (got my tix in the mail already).

Not gonna be able to go to the NY show though...but thats alright, cant go to all of them after all
