Very good to see some of the regulars from the old message board. Hello everybody. M, you have done it again! Wanted to let you all know that I watched the movie "Love & Basketball" for the first time last night. It was on regular TV at about 2:00 am. I don't remember who said it, but they were absolutely right about the moment in the movie when they played Meshell's song. It was so at the right time (at least I was saying that til I saw the ending to the movie). I was so into the movie that I had forgotten that "Fool of Me" was in the movie. When it started to pump in, I was like 'Oh Yeah'. I wasn't interested in seeing the movie mainly because of the title and what I assumed it was going to be about, but I was pleasantly surprised for the most part. And of course, Bashir's music was a great plus. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do. Congrats to Bashir and the C.O.'s for another grammy nomination (although that so-called validation doesn't mean much to true music fans, I do welcome the recognition for one of the only true music artists around). i was late to seeing 'love & basketball' too... i too recommend it to the 3 or 4 of you that may have not seen it yet
